Job Purpose:
Responsibility for the organization and control of the transport resources ensuring the delivery of a high quality and cost-efficient service to customers. Key Accountabilities:

Management and development of drivers and transport team
"Management of the scheduling and planning of the transport operation, ensuring vehicle utilization is maximized
and services levels met"
Budget/Cost Management
"Compliance with company and local statutory obligations regarding working time legislation, operator licensing,
Health & Safety and quality"
Ensure effective communication processes are established and maintained for both external/internal customers
Vendor relationship Management
Preparation of KPI's, fleet profile report, driver debrief
Operational continuous improvement
Fleet Management and maintenance

Qualifications & Experience :

University Degree in Transport & Logistics Management
Proficiency in Microsoft Office
Transport Management
Fleet Management
Risk Management

Knowledge

Divisional Experience-Logistics
Functional Experience-Warehousing Yard and Stock management
Industries Experience-Beverages (Including reverse logistics)
Geographical Experience-Local Region market experience
Warehousing Yard and Stock management .
