Transport Officer
HR World Ltd on behalf of our client, we are looking for a Transport Officer who will be responsible for managing all transportation operations within the organization to ensure smooth, safe, and efficient logistics support in line with hospitality service standards.
Responsibilities
Coordinate daily transport schedules, vehicle allocation, and route planning to support operational needs.
Ensure timely pickup and drop-off of staff, guests, and goods across multiple locations.
Supervise drivers and monitor their adherence to company policies and safety standards.
Maintain detailed records of vehicle use, maintenance, fuel consumption, and transport costs.
Ensure all vehicles are roadworthy, regularly serviced, and fully compliant with legal and safety regulations.
Liaise with the operations team to meet transportation requirements during events and peak service times.
Monitor and manage transport budgets and identify areas for cost optimization.
Handle transport-related emergencies and ensure prompt resolution and reporting.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s Degree in Transport Management, Logistics, Supply Chain, or any related field.
3–5 years of proven experience in transport operations, preferably in the hospitality industry.
Strong organizational and planning skills.
Ability to manage and lead a team of drivers.
Knowledge of fleet management systems is an added advantage.
Excellent communication, problem-solving, and customer service skills.
Valid driver’s license is an added advantage.
