Workplace Banking Manager
INDUSTRY: BANKING
HR World Ltd, on behalf of our client, we are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Workplace Banking Manager who will be responsible for driving scheme banking, managing organizational relationships, and growing workplace banking products while ensuring quality portfolio management.
Responsibilities:
Appraise potential organizations and recommend their inclusion in the approved schemes list.
Maintain relationships with existing schemes including conducting sales presentations and scheme activations.
Cross-sell to existing customers and increase product penetration per customer.
Monitor and manage risk by identifying high-risk policies and practices.
Support Branches, Direct Sales Executives, and other sales channels to achieve sales objectives and resolve scheme-related customer issues.
Provide MIS and performance reports on schemes for informed business decision-making.
Generate referrals and leverage market intelligence to build stronger customer relationships.
Grow a quality asset book through follow-up on checkoff deductions and arrears management.
Organize training sessions for both internal and external customers.
Collaborate with Marketing & Product Development teams in executing marketing initiatives, campaigns, and product launches.
Work closely with Business Operations, Credit Teams, and employers to reduce portfolio-at-risk for scheme loans.
Partner with Corporate Relationship Managers and Business Banking to enhance organizational relationships.
Formulate and implement sales strategies to grow new business and increase wallet share from existing clients.
Develop and maintain a robust sales pipeline for both existing and prospective customers.
Identify and pursue new and profitable business opportunities.
Conduct product reviews and provide feedback for continuous improvement.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Banking, Finance, or a related field.
Minimum of 8–10 years of proven experience in a banking environment.
Strong background in Sales and Relationship Management, particularly in scheme loans.
Strong leadership skills with an executive presence.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
High integrity, business acumen, and innovative thinking.
Ability to develop long-term integrated and cross-functional operational plans.
