WORKSHOP SUPERVISORINDUSTRY: OIL AND GASHR World Limited on behalf of our client we are seeking for an ambitious and highly-skilled candidate who will be responsible for the management of workshop staff, and ensuring all matters relating to mechanical services are achieved.
RESPONSIBILITIES;
• Lead and manage a team of mechanics and workshop staff, providing direction, training, and performance evaluations.• Foster a collaborative and positive work environment, promoting teamwork and high morale.• Ensure adherence to company policies, procedures, and safety regulations• Oversee the scheduling and execution of preventive maintenance and repair tasks for the fleet.• Develop and implement maintenance schedules to minimize vehicle downtime and ensure operational efficiency.• Conduct inspections and quality control checks to maintain high standards of workmanship.• Coordinate daily workshop activities, including work allocation, resource management, and workflow optimization.• Ensure timely completion of maintenance and repair tasks to support fleet readiness and operational demands.• Manage workshop inventory, including ordering parts, tools, and supplies as needed• Enforce safety protocols and maintain a culture of safety within the workshop.• Conduct regular safety audits and ensure compliance with industry regulations and standards.
QUALIFICATIONS;
• Bachelor Degree in Petroleum or chemical engineering, economic, marketing or related field• Minimum of 3 years of experience in fleet maintenance or a related field, with at least 2 years in a supervisory role• Strong leadership and team management skills• Strong analytical, organizational, and creative thinking skills.• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and customer service skills.• Knowledge of data analysis and report writing.• The ability to work under pressure.Interested candidates may send their CVs to career@hrworld.co.tz before 27th June 2024
