POSITION TITLE: Zonal Business Manager (ZBM) Sales.

We are looking for Zonal Business Manager in sales department from the major FMGS Companies in Tanzania With with an experience of not less than four years of managing sales on managerial positions and managing regions (s) to increase the customer market share (CMS) and revenue market share (RMS) for both prepaid & post-paid with higher incremental market share through supervision and coordination with the area sales representative (ASR) so as to be the uncontested market leader in the allocated zone.
1. ORGANIZATIONAL CHART
ZBM Reports to Sales & Distribution Director who reports to Chief Commercial Officer.
2. KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES
Meeting, the budgeted sales targets.
Ensuring right width of channel at a respective location and subsequent infrastructure that includes EVD selling outlets
Appoint and recommend to business new distributors as per set targets
Enhance the CMS and RMS by maximizing incremental market share both in Prepaid and post-paid
Maximising the retail business share
Maximizing the incremental market share
Ensuring right mix of width and depth of distribution. Variable trade loads to suit different market needs.
Business rollout planning & Site Launches
Manage, monitor and supervise Site Launches
New town launch with perfection; adequate emphasis on retail and distribution mix.
Providing MI to superiors in process of network improvement and competition activities.
To have effective market intelligence both on competition & self.
Channel ROI
Ensuring that distributors are following the stock & market servicing guidelines
Other Responsibilities
Manage, monitor and supervise all staffs reporting to him/her in the zone
Provide requisite functional and soft skills training to team members and develop them by monitoring their performance periodically
Ensure all Functions work as team and encourage ideas, opinions
Maintain good relationship with distributors and retailers.
Setting territory targets for Territory Sales Managers (TSMs) and distributors
Receiving, analyze and disseminate performance reports (Daily, weekly and monthly) – EVD, Connections & Airtel Money
Identify new coverage areas and provide a recommendation for coverage
Ensure full support to distributors (Training, POS, 170 access, POS materials, T-shirts) etc.

5. SKILLS & KNOWLEDGE
Educational Qualifications &Functional /Technical Skills:
Graduate degree in business, sales or marketing or equivalent training in business or sales management.
Relevant Experience :
Able to operate in a performance-driven organization Graduate degree in business, sales or marketing or equivalent training in business or sales management.
MBA is a plus
4-8+ years of relevant experience in handling channel sales with years of ZSM role is required.
Excellent knowledge of channel, indirect sales, direct sales, and selling skills
IT Literacy
Able to work under high stress with short-term targets and objectives
Able to handle, prioritize multiple projects simultaneously
Able to operate in a performance driven organization
Other requirements (Behavioral etc.)
Business Awareness
Strong analytical skills and problem-solving skills
Excellent planning skills
High personal standard and goal oriented
Excellent interpersonal skills
