Hotel Receptionist - Hospitality Industry
HR World Limited, on behalf of our client, is seeking to recruit a Hotel Receptionist with prior hotel experience to manage front desk operations and deliver excellent guest service.
Key Responsibilities:
Greet and welcome guests in a courteous, professional, and friendly manner.
Manage check-in and check-out procedures in line with hotel standards.
Handle guest inquiries, reservations, cancellations, and room allocations efficiently.
Answer and direct phone calls, emails, and other correspondence promptly.
Maintain accurate guest records and update booking systems accordingly.
Coordinate with housekeeping and other departments to ensure smooth guest experiences.
Handle guest complaints or issues professionally and escalate when necessary.
Process payments, issue receipts, and manage basic billing activities.
Maintain a clean, organized, and presentable reception area at all times.
Qualifications and Experience:
Diploma or Certificate in Hospitality, Hotel Management, Front Office Operations, or a related field.
Minimum of 2 years’ experience as a Receptionist in a hotel or hospitality environment.
Good knowledge of hotel reservation systems and front office procedures.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Strong customer service orientation and problem-solving skills.
High level of integrity, confidentiality, and professionalism.
