Role purpose:


To develop new Mobile Products and Solutions and Services for the Enterprise Segment as well as support marketing initiatives that drive Enterprise Revenue for Mobile Voice and Data.


Overall owner of Mobile Voice and Data Solutions Strategy for Vodacom Tanzania Enterprise Segment.


Be an Enterprise Mobile Products and Solutions domain expert and a go to person


Key accountabilities and decision ownership  


Plan and Lead Implementation of Large, Medium and SME customer acquisition initiatives from the product point of view in close collaboration with the Sales, CVM, Support and Commercial teams.


Track performance thereof and fine-tune where necessary.


Oversee the Enterprise Product and Solutions roadmap. Ensure that products offered in the portfolio are meeting customers’ needs, error-free, correct billing. Identify new opportunities, develop, and ensure there is an appropriate take to market strategy.


Develop, sort for approval and share Business cases in coordination with finance, enterprise sales teams and other relevant channels


Coordinate with Project Management, Product Developers, Test Lab and ITB teams for UAT of new/enhanced functionality, tariffs & business rules prior to roll out to the market


Gather intelligence on customer needs & distribution channel attitudes and competitor activities/Offering and transform into the relevant Enterprise offering


Drive change implementation and development through macro project management of various delivery areas like IT & Billing, Marketing, Sales, Customer Service, etc.          
 



 

Must have technical/professional qualifications:


Bachelor Degree in Marketing or other related sciences


MBA will be an added advantage


Excellent communication skills (verbal and written)


Core competencies, knowledge and experience:


Aggressive commercial skills


Past experience in product development in large technology-driven corporations, banking, FMCG industry & ICT


A Minimum of 1-3 Years’ experience within the ICT arena will be an added advantage


At least 2 years’ experience in corporate sales and product development  in Internet Service Providers (ISP) or ICT B2B industry or  Similar


At least 2 years in a management position

Understanding of the Product and Solutions value chain, impact on business models & where Product Change Management can be used as a transformational tool in verticals

Be able to translate ICT principles, references and jargon to customer business value


Inquisitive and creative mindset and be able to translate that to a real-world solution for the Enterprise market
