Job Summary
We are looking for a Pharmaceutical Technician to work in a corporate clinic pharmacy, assisting thepharmacist in preparing and dispensing medications, managing inventory, and ensuring accuratelabeling and packaging of prescriptions. They will provide excellent customer service, answer patentinquiries, and maintain a clean and organized workspace. The role requires strict adherence toregulatory standards and company policies to ensure patent safety and confdentality. The idealcandidate will have strong atenton to detail, effectve communicaton skills, and the ability to workefciently in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities:

Maintain inventory levels by ordering necessary medications and supplies and verifyingdeliveries against purchase orders.
To provide friendly customer services at prescription drop-off and pick-up counters.
To dispense medications according to written prescriptions with 100% accuracy.
Ensure pharmacy is secure, clean, and well-stocked and that policies are in place regarding theprovision of a safe and efficient service.
Provide patients with accurate and detailed information regarding their prescriptions andother pharmacy requirements.
Provide advice and technical support to medical and nursing staff in relation to pharmacyrequirements.
Maintain pharmacy inventory always ensuring adequate stock control and stock on hand.
Assist in the development of new, revised, and renewed pharmacy policies and procedures inline with ongoing changes to service.
Review instances of medication errors.
Provide daily, weekly, and monthly reports on pharmacy activity, quality management, clientservices, or any concerns regarding the provision of pharmacy services.

Minimum Required Qualifications:

Diploma in Pharmacy from a recognized/registered training institution.
Enrolled with the Pharmacy Council of Tanzania as a Pharmaceutical Technician.
Minimum 3 years of proven working experience as a Pharmaceutical Technician.
Excellent Customer Service skills.
Knowledge of Computer Skills in MS Excel, Word, and Internet Mailing.
A strong command of English and Swahili Language.
