Procurement Assistant
Industry: Oil and Gas
HR World Limited, on behalf of our client, is seeking to recruit an Assistant Procurement Officer to support procurement operations and ensure timely, cost-effective acquisition of goods and services in line with company policies. Candidates with experience in the oil and gas industry will have an added advantage.

Responsibilities:

Assist in sourcing and purchasing goods, materials, and services as per company requirements.
Prepare and process purchase requisitions and purchase orders.
Follow up with suppliers to ensure timely delivery of goods and services.
Assist in supplier evaluation, selection, and negotiation processes.
Maintain accurate procurement records, files, and documentation.
Support inventory monitoring and stock control activities.
Coordinate with internal departments to understand and fulfill procurement needs.
Ensure compliance with procurement policies and procedures.
Assist in resolving supplier-related issues and discrepancies.


Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree or Diploma in Procurement, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
Previous experience in a procurement or administrative role is an added advantage.
Experience in the oil and gas sector is highly desirable.
Basic knowledge of procurement processes and supplier management.
Proficiency in MS Office applications.
Good communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
High level of integrity and confidentiality.
