Depot Manager
We are seeking a Depot Manager to oversee and manage the smooth operations of our depot, ensuring efficiency, accuracy, and excellent service delivery.
Key Skills & Qualifications:
- Education: Bachelor's Degree or Diploma in Logistics, Supply Chain, Operations Management, or related field. At least 5 years of relevant experience in depot/warehouse/logistics management in a busy manufacturing or FMCG environment.
- Strong knowledge of stock management systems, dispatch operations, and regulatory compliance.
- Proven leadership and team management skills.
- Proficiency in MS Office and ERP/CRM systems.
- Excellent communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
Key Competencies
- Oversee daily depot operations including production planning, warehouse management, logistics, and dispatch.
- Supervise production schedules to meet customer demands while minimizing downtime.
- Ensure accurate documentation of stock, dispatch, and delivery processes.
- Implement strong stock management controls, conduct reconciliations, and prevent losses. Optimize logistics, vehicle usage, fuel consumption, and delivery scheduling.
- Lead and supervise a multidisciplinary team, ensuring performance and compliance. Enforce adherence to company policies, SOPs, and safety regulations.
- Prepare operational reports and liaise with finance, sales, procurement, and logistics teams.
