Health, Safety & Environmental Manager

Industry: Oil & Gas

Minimum Education: Bachelor’s Degree

Required Experience: At least 5 years of experience

Job Purpose

To oversee the implementation of Safety, Health, and Environmental plans and programs based upon Tanzanian laws. The HSE Manager will ensure that the operation of Company facilities adheres to both local and international HSE regulations and standards

Job Qualification / Experience

• Degree Level qualification in the relevant field, including Safety and/or Environmental
• Current OSHA Certification
• Over 5 years’ experience in the relevant field
• Previous management or leadership experience is essential
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, in Kiswahili and English
• Analytical Skills, able to prioritize, advise and decide appropriately within a high-pressure environment
• Proven occupational, Health, and Environmental risk analysis skills
• Effective interpersonal skills
• Able to operate at all levels within the company and with stakeholders
