About the Role

We are seeking a detail-oriented and trustworthy Accountant to maintain accurate financial records, manage day-to-day accounting activities, and support financial planning.

Key Responsibilities

• Record income, expenses, and other financial transactions.
• Prepare invoices and receipts, track student service payments, and follow up on outstanding balances.
• Reconcile bank accounts, mobile money transactions, and petty cash.
• Prepare monthly financial reports, budgets, and cash-flow updates.
• Process approved payments, payroll, and staff commissions.

• Support tax filings and statutory compliance requirements.
• Maintain organized financial records and protect confidential information.

Qualifications and Skills

• Diploma or degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• At least two years of relevant accounting experience preferred.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software.
• Knowledge of Tanzanian taxation and accounting requirements.
• Strong attention to detail, integrity, and organizational skills.
• Good communication skills in English and Swahili.
• CPA qualification or progress towards it is an added advantage.
