Branch Operations Officer - LOLC TANZANIA

Job Description:

• Branch Operations and Compliance Management – Provide oversight of daily branch operations, ensuring full compliance with internal policies, regulatory requirements, and established operational controls.
• Customer Service Excellence and Client Relations – Deliver and maintain high standards of customer service by addressing client inquiries promptly, supporting customer needs, and ensuring timely payment reminders to minimize default risks.
• Loan Processing and Transaction Oversight – Support the end-to-end processing of loan applications and ensure accurate and timely management of all branch transactions, including deposits, withdrawals, and loan disbursements.
• Financial Reporting and Record Management – Prepare, maintain, and reconcile financial records and statements, while contributing to the preparation of performance reports and analysis of key branch metrics.
• Team Collaboration and Operational Enhancement – Work collaboratively with branch staff to streamline workflows, strengthen operational efficiency, and promote continuous improvement in branch performance.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Banking and Finance.
• 1-2 years of experience as an accountant, with a strong understanding of financial processes.
• Proven experience in customer service, with excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Previous experience in a microfinance institution or bank is a significant advantage.
• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and financial software.
