Kasama Logistics Limited, a leading Clearing & Forwarding and Logistics Company in Dar es Salaam, is seeking a competent and experienced Chief Accountant Officer.

Position Overview

The Chief Accountant Officer will be responsible for overseeing all financial operations, ensuring compliance, and contributing to the strategic financial direction of the company.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day accounting operations.
• Prepare financial statements and reports.
• Ensure compliance with Tanzania tax laws and regulations.
• Develop and implement accounting policies and procedures.
• Provide financial analysis and insights to support decision-making.

• Oversee budgeting and forecasting processes.
• Manage accounts payable and receivable.
• Lead and mentor the accounting team.

Requirements

• Minimum 8 years of relevant experience.
• Proven experience in a managerial/senior position.
• Strong knowledge of Tanzania tax matters and compliance.
• Excellent accounting and financial management skills.
• Experience in the logistics/clearing & forwarding industry is an added advantage.

Salary and Benefits

Salary: 4,000,000 TZS, negotiable based on experience and qualifications.
