Job Purpose

To develop an operation and financial strategy, metrics tie to the overall group strategy and the ongoing monitoring and development and of control systems designed to report accurate financial results and preserve company assets

Job Qualifications/Experience

• A degree in Banking, Commerce, Finance, Accounting, Economics or any related course
• Team Building/Conflict Management skills
• Leadership, coaching, organization, and coordination skills
• A minimum of 10 years experience in a commercial bank of which at least 5 years should have been at Head of Department or Senior Management level in a banking sector
• Professional qualification CPA (T), ACCA or equivalent along with aa relevant Master’s degree or equivalent preferred
• Competencies in IFRS provisions & compliance,& financial planning, budgeting, and monitoring thereof
• Decision maker, problem solver, analytical ability & good numeric skills including use of automated solutions
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
