Consumer Financing Manager

Reporting line: Head of Retail Banking

Duties and Responsibilities

• Spearheading the product to ensure existence and expansion.
• Ensuring extended customer base with quality portfolio.
• Ensuring adequate income which is justifiable with portfolio size.
• Supervision of Consumer Financing Officers in all branches including review of performance as recommended by Branch Managers.
• Managing and giving strategic direction to Consumer Financing Officers to enhance their performance.
• Review of product performance on a monthly basis and taking proper action toward any negativities.
• Advising the Business development team on ways to improve the product for growth.
• Review of procedures and advising the Management on any technical change if required.
• Ensuring that all the necessary controls are in place to address the risks encountered in pre and post granting of financing facilities to customers.

• Supporting the BMFC with all necessary techniques required in processing of financing facilities.
• Conducting training to stakeholders.

Qualifications and Experience Required

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Commerce, or any other field related to the industry.
• 5 years of relevant work experience.
