Finance and Administration Officer

Reporting: Executive Director

Reporting hours: 0800hrs and complete 1600hrs with lunch break
Deadline: 25th November 2017

Duties and responsibilities

1. Implement financial policies and regulations of the organization
2. Prepare and reconcile general bank statements
3. Ensure financial transactions are properly done
4. Quality control on all membership communications, advertising, and literature to ensure they comply with organization guidelines
5. Prepare income statements
6. Prepare balance sheets
7. Develop and deliver membership marketing campaigns across all channels
8. Synthesize membership data into comprehensive reports that can be delivered at senior management and board level
9. Implement reconciliation systems with the Finance Department to ensure that Membership and Finance reporting of membership income is consistent
10. Assist with preparation of the budget

12. Maintain financial files and records
13. Manage the repair and maintenance of computer and office equipment

Key qualification and experience

• Minimum qualification - Degree in Accounting and Finance from a recognized university, CPA holder is added advantage
• A minimum of three working experience in a reputable organization
• Fluent spoken and written English including computer literacy
