  1. To manage the recruitment process, from screening, interviews, and selection.
  2. To be responsible for laying the foundation for the organization’s structure.
  3. To build a relationship between employees and the organization manager.
  4. Ensuring implementation of compliance matters such as Fire and OSHA.
  5. Handling disciplinary measures.
  6. Updating staff files.
  7. Support current and future business needs through the development, engagement, motivation, and preservation of human capital.
  8. Following up with staff benefits such as NHIF, NSSF, and other staff bonuses.
  9. Advising management on policies and procedural implementation.
  10. Drafting job descriptions.
  11. Ensuring evaluation and appraisal for staff are done on time.
  12. Assessing the training needs and implementation.
  13. Conducting the internal HR Audit.
  14. Monitoring staff performance and attendance.
  15. Drafting employee contracts and ensuring that the employees’ contracts are valid and up to date.
  16. Preparation of employment contracts, and company policies and ensuring each employee has a copy of a signed company policies.
  17. Performing all other duties as assigned by the managing director.

Requirements and qualifications

  1. Bachelor’s degree in human resources management, Business administration, HR public relations, or another related field.
  2. 3 years’ experience in the Automotive industry.
  3. Creative and knowledgeable in handling HR activities.
  4. Good communication skills.
  5. Fluent in English and Kiswahili both speaking and writing.
