Internal Auditor

Soma Biblia is an Evangelical Lutheran Literature Ministry registered in Tanzania. Our main mission are publication, sale and distribution of Bibles, Christian literature and Church supplies through our book centers in Dar es Salaam, Iringa, Mwanza, Arusha, Mbeya, Dodoma, Mbezi and our mobile distribution network.

We are looking for an experienced auditor who is a devoted follower of Jesus Christ focused on bringing the Gospel to all generations in Tanzania through Christian literature.

As a Soma Biblia Internal Auditor, you will be an independent assessment expert assisting the management by examining and evaluating the adequacy and effectiveness of internal controls in all the organization's activities.

Required Qualifications and Skills

• Holder of a bachelor's degree in accounting or an advanced Diploma in Accountancy from a recognized institution.
• Certified Public Accountant (CPA).
• Proven work experience in auditing for 5 years and above.

• Extensive knowledge of general financial accounting and reporting.
• Extensive knowledge of information systems security.
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Proficient with Microsoft applications and other accounting software.
• Ready to commit yourself to to SOMA BIBLIA's Vision, Mission statement and Core values.
• A Christian who has received Jesus Christ as his personal Lord and Savior with a strong desire to spread the Gospel through literature.
