The Mzumbe university invites applications from suitably qualified and competent Tanzanian to fill this vacant post.

(a)  Qualifications and Experience

Holder of a PhD, Master degree in a specialize functional area with at least a GPA of 4.0.  In addition, the candidate must have a minimum GPA of 3.8 in first degree and assessed as potentially good academically.

(b) Duties

·         Conducting lectures;

·         Preparing case studies;

·         To mentor junior staff in relevant fields

·         To particiapate/contribute in curriculum development

·         To carry out consultancey and community sevices.

·         To supervise field practicals, undergraduate special projects, Master and PhD dissertations/theses.

(c)  Areas of specialization

·         Industrial engineering management/mechanical engineering/production engineering/engineering management.

(d) Salary scale: PUTS 3.3
