Job Title: National/Regional Short Term Technical and Vocational Trainer – Plumbing and Pipefitting
Location: Tanzania
Duration: 6 person months
Job Description
The Technical and Vocational Trainer – Plumbing and pipefitting will:
- Cooperate with the curriculum expert in the technical expert’s corresponding field so that adequate technical content is included in the curricula
- ajiraDevelop didactic material and prepare practical exercises for teaching
- Conduct technical training courses in the respective technical field
- Coordinate visits and internships with the local private sector to facilitate work based experience
Job Requirements:
- Minimum of a technical certificate (high school +3) in the relevant field
- Professional experience in vocational teaching and in private industry of a minimum of 5 years
- Experience working in the private sector
- Working experience in Tanzania or East Africa obligatory
- Right to live and work in Tanzania/East Africa
- Excellent spoken and written English and Kiswahili
