POSITION: Operations Supervisor 

INDUSTRY: Hospitality 

REPORTS TO: CEO 

JOB LOCATION: Dar es Salaam 

JOB PURPOSE 

An operations supervisor for a small lodge is responsible for training and supervising employees, reducing operational costs, monitoring their department's compliance with operational policies, and keeping up-to-date with the progress of administrative duties 

PREFERRED EDUCATION: Degree or Advanced Diploma 

PREFERRED KNOWLEDGE: Hospitality knowledge 

RELEVANT EXPERIENCE: 1 year or more 

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES 

• Collaborate with the HR, operations and Administration team 
• Good interpersonal and relationship building skills 
• Experience budgeting and forecasting 
• Experience in a hotel or small lodge 
• Knowledge of operational principles and policies 

KEY COMPETENCIES 

• Hotel software experience 
• Hands-on experience with technological equipment 
• Professional and hospitality service attitude 
• Verbal and written communication skills in clear English and Swahili language 
• Background in sales and marketing
