Open Position: Power Systems Engineer

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead the design, installation, testing, commissioning, and maintenance of electrical power systems.

• Manage HV/MV/LV power systems, substations, transformers, switchgear, and power distribution networks.

• Perform power system studies, protection coordination, and system performance analysis.

• Supervise contractors and ensure compliance with project specifications, standards, and regulations.

• Manage project schedules, budgets, risks, documentation, and quality delivery.

• Review and approve electrical designs, technical submissions, and commissioning reports.

• Provide technical leadership to ensure safe, reliable, and efficient power system operations.

Key Skills:

• Expertise in HV/MV/LV power systems, substations, and electrical distribution networks.

• Strong project management skills with the ability to deliver projects on time and within budget.

• Proficiency in power system analysis software such as ETAP or DIgSILENT PowerFactory.

• Sound knowledge of SCADA, protection systems, and IEC/IEEE standards.

• Strong understanding of testing, commissioning, quality assurance, and regulatory compliance.

• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and stakeholder communication skills.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering (Power Systems) from a recognized university.

• Must be a Registered Professional Engineer with the Engineers Registration Board (ERB) and hold a valid practicing license.

• Minimum 10 years of experience in the design, installation, testing, commissioning, and maintenance of electrical power systems.
