Project Design Engineer

Industry: Manufacturing

Location: Dar es Salaam

Minimum Education: Bachelor’s Degree

Required Experience: At least 5 years

Job Purpose

To handle the development of cost-effective design layouts, analyses design issues, performance design analysis, and calculations according to project recruitments

Job Qualification / Experience

• Bachelors of Science in Civil and Structural Engineering or Architecture
• General work experience at least two (2) years in the same field preferable in the design/consultancy industry
• Determine construction cost and material estimates based on designs
• Performa field surveys and investigations to prepare engineering drawings
• Manage design projects within allotted timelines and budgets
• Performance design changes and improvements according to changing project demands
• Creation of favorable linkages with technical building industry players (consultants, contractors, and developers) in the jurisdiction to propagate the organization’s brand and achieve business growth
• Other responsibilities may be allocated from time to time
