Quantity Surveyor

JUIN is seeking a dynamic Quantity Surveyor to lead cost estimation, tender pricing, and financial control for both current and upcoming projects. This pivotal role reports directly to company management, ensuring competitive and profitable bids while maintaining cost adherence from tender to project completion.

Key Responsibilities

• Take ownership of cost estimation.
• Manage tender pricing.
• Oversee financial control across active and prospective projects.
• Ensure competitive bids without compromising profitability.
• Monitor and manage project costs from tender through completion.

Qualifications

• Diploma or degree in Quantity Surveying, Civil Engineering, or a related field.
• Prior experience in the Tanzanian construction industry, ideally with a Grade 2 or higher contractor for 3 years and above.

• Familiarity with local material rates, NCC procedures, and tender documentation standards.
• Strong Excel/spreadsheet skills; familiarity with BOQ and estimation software is a plus.
• High attention to detail and comfort working with financial figures under deadline pressure.
• Ability to work independently and coordinate with site teams.
