Sales and Marketing Manager - Alcoholic Beverages

We're seeking a dynamic Sales & Marketing Manager to lead the growth of our premium vodka brand, Mwamba, across Tanzania and the East African region. This role focuses on driving sales, building brand awareness, and expanding market reach.

Key Responsibilities

Sales Leadership (50%)

• Develop & execute sales strategies for retail, on-trade, and wholesale.
• Monitor market trends, pricing, and competitor activity.
• Manage relationships with distributors & key accounts.
• Consistently meet monthly & annual sales targets.

Brand & Marketing (35%)

• Craft compelling brand messaging tailored to local markets.
• Oversee digital marketing, influencer partnerships & content.
• Drive packaging & promotional material design.
• Plan events, tastings, and brand activations.

Team & Performance (15%)

• Recruit and manage sales reps/brand ambassadors.
• Set and monitor KPIs for team performance & brand visibility.
• Use data to optimize strategies and improve ROI.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or related field (MBA is a plus)
• 5+ years in selling & marketing of alcoholic beverages specifically; Gin, spirit or Vodka
• Proven brand-building & sales success in East Africa
• Strong distributor & key account network.
• Citizens from EA (Kenya, Uganda) and SADC countries are encouraged to Apply.
