Area Sales Manager

INDUSTRY: OIL AND GAS

LOCATION: MBEYA, DODOMA, ARUSHA, DAR ES SALAAM, TANZANIA

mHR World Ltd, on behalf of our client, is seeking a dynamic and results-driven Area Sales Manager who will be responsible for driving sales growth, managing key accounts, and implementing strategic sales initiatives across the designated territory in the oil and gas sector.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and execute sales strategies to achieve revenue targets and market share growth within the assigned area.
• Identify and pursue new business opportunities, including corporate clients, distributors, and key accounts.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction and loyalty.
• Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and customer needs to provide actionable insights for business growth.
• Lead, mentor, and manage the performance of the sales team within the territory.
• Prepare and present regular sales reports, forecasts, and analysis to senior management.
• Collaborate with marketing, operations, and technical teams to ensure seamless service delivery and promotional support.
• Ensure compliance with company policies, safety standards, and industry regulations.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Engineering, or a related field.
• Minimum 3 years of progressive sales experience in the oil and gas or a related industry
• Proven track record of achieving and exceeding sales targets.
• Strong leadership, negotiation, and communication skills.
• Strategic thinker with the ability to analyze market trends and implement effective sales strategies.
• High level of integrity, professionalism, and ethical standards.
