POSITION: Channel and Payment Lead

INDUSTRY: Banking 

REPORTS TO: TBD 

JOB LOCATION: Dar es Salaam 

JOB PURPOSE 

Accountable for developing and executing operating models for the ongoing support of Alternative Channels and payments operations with core focus in banking 

PREFERRED EDUCATION 

Bachelor's degree in Industrial, Business Studies/Administration/Management, Commerce, Finance/Accountancy/Banking, Marketing, or other related fields 

PREFERRED KNOWLEDGE 

• Knowledgeable in general banking functions and management needs.

RELEVANT EXPERIENCE

• At least 3-4 years of solid experience in handling different local and international payment schemes. 

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES 

• Formulate and execute the channels M banking, Money Transfer Services, Card, Agency Banking and merchant acquisition 
• Prepare competitor's product comparative analysis, identifying areas for improvement of our company's product and channel capabilities 
• Drive the business synergies and work hand in hand with the stakeholders to boost 
• up the sales activities of the various Channels in order to achieve the business targets. 

KEY COMPETENCIES 

• Analytical and critical thinking skills are required. 
• Has the ability to analyze channel performance and make appropriate programs to increase profitability and usage of channel 
• A strong foundation on analyzing channel performance and make appropriate programs to increase profitability and usage of the channel.
