JOB PURPOSE

The role holder is responsible for ensuring inventory is always available through creating. and maintaining an updated forecast, as well as working with stakeholders to ensure the forecast is close to accurate and that the forecast requirements are executed timely. S/he will also be responsible for frequent inventory analyses, setting and communicating priority for items that need to be printed first on a monthly, weekly, and daily basis.

PREFERRED EDUCATION

Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Statistics, Supply Chain/Logistics or equivalent experience
Certified Planning and Inventory Management (CPIM)

RELEVANT EXPERIENCE

5+ years of work experience, of which 3 must be in an analyst position in a non- profit organization and /or at a reputable organization.
3+ years of supply chain, logistics, or warehouse management experience

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Work on the forecast of inventory items and consumable materials to ensure both sales demand is met at all times, and warehouses are not overstocked. This includes creating, and/or constantly reviewing and updating the existing forecast model and placing orders to the production/procurement team.
Contribute to documentation of policies and processes to ensure business continuity.

KEY COMPETENCIES

IT literacy, strong skills in Excel, and the ability to handle electronic data
Good understanding of risk management in the context of the supply chain A logical and systematic approach to work with good influencing skills
