Job Summary

To support the project in the areas of budget formulation, financial planning, accounting/budget execution, and management advisory services.

Key Responsibilities

1. Determines validity of obligations and availability of funds. Reviews individual obligations documents to assign correct classification codes, referring problems in classification. Notes obvious deviations from financial plans and refers to supervisor.
2. Prepares recurring and one-time detailed reports of unpaid orders, accruals, allotments, etc.
3. Periodically reconciles/balances accounting records.
4. Maintains accounts receivable files, obligations, and liquidations. Makes collections.
5. Enters all financial transactions from a wide variety of documents into database/spreadsheet.
6. Under guidance, gathers data from identified sources regarding project and assists in making a preliminary analysis of such data incident to budget formulation. Develops preliminary financial plan for project.
7. Participates with supervisor in advising Project Leader on budgetary matters.

Minimum Qualifications

(3+) years of experience and high school diploma OR the equivalent combination of education and experience.
