Job Description
Job Title: Head of Fleet Operations
Industry: Oil and Gas
Job Location: Dar es Salaam
Job Summary:
Accountable for providing strategy for all aspects of multiple high-volume supply chain/logistics operations to ensure consistent high-level service quality and customer satisfaction, profitability, cost-efficient operations, and compliance with company policies and procedures.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and lead a team of fleet supervisors, technicians, and administrative staff, providing guidance, training, and support to ensure high-quality performance.
- Oversee and coordinate the maintenance, repair, and replacement of vehicles, equipment, and machinery to ensure fleet readiness and minimize downtime.
- Monitor and analyze fleet utilization, fuel consumption, and maintenance costs to identify areas of improvement and implement cost-saving measures.
- nafasi za kaziPrepare regular reports and presentations on fleet performance, budget utilization, and key performance indicators for senior management.
Qualifications and Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in business administration, supply chain management, logistics, or a related field.
- Experience working with over 200 fleets.
- Proven experience in fleet management, with at least 5 years in a leadership or managerial position.
- Familiarity with relevant fleet management software and technologies.
- Possession of a valid driver's license and a clean driving record.
- Exceptional interpersonal skills in working with Oil and Gas departments.
