Position: Health Safety and Security Officer

Working Station: Dar es Salaam

Requirements & Qualifications

Education:

Bachelor’s degree in Occupational Health and Safety, Environmental Science, Engineering, or a related field.

Certifications:

NEBOSH IGC, IOSH, OSHA Certification, or equivalent.

Experience:

Minimum of 3–5 years of experience in an HSSE role, preferably in the oil and gas or LPG sector.

Industry Knowledge:

Understanding of LPG operations and associated risks.

Regulatory Knowledge:

Familiarity with local HSE regulations and industry standards (e.g., EWURA, OSHA, ISO 45001, ISO 14001).

Key Skills:

• Strong knowledge of safety regulations (OSHA, EWURA, etc.).
• Emergency response planning and fire safety skills.
• Proficiency in incident investigation and reporting tools.
• Excellent communication, training, and leadership skills.
• Familiarity with environmental impact assessment and sustainability measures.
