Procurement Supervisor

Industry: Medical Labs  

Job Type: Full Time 

Job Location: Dar es Salaam 

Minimum Education: Bachelor's Degree 

Required Experience: 3-5 years

Job Purpose

Responsible for procurement and supervision of the materials management department to ensure efficient processing and delivery of orders in line with standard operating procedures

Job Qualifications / Experience

• Relevant Bachelor Degree in procurement. 
• Participate in the implementation of a logistics route optimization management tool 
• Oversee deliveries to internal and external customers 
• Adhere to all Supply Chain group procedures, in terms of acquiring and receipting the goods 
• Follow FIFO procedure for receipts and issues 
• Use the ERP to determine adequate quantities to be ordered, to ban shortages and avoid overstock 
• Maintain impeccable data quality in the ERP 
• Oversee accuracy of inventory, physical and system quantities 
• Be responsible for compliance with national and international regulations regarding the transport and import of all material, especially potentially infectious material
• Manage the inventory management team - Coaching of employees, appraisals, recruitment if necessary
