Project Manager-Salt Project

Key Responsibilities

• Plan and manage projects related to salt harvesting, processing, packaging, storage, and logistics.
• Coordinate farm operations (brine concentration, pond management, harvesting schedules) with plant processing activities.
• Manage contractors, suppliers, and equipment vendors.
• Oversee construction, expansion, or upgrades of salt pans, processing lines, and utilities.
• Control project budgets, timelines, and resource allocation.
• Ensure compliance with health, safety, environmental, and food-grade regulations.
• Liaise with government authorities, inspectors, and certification bodies.
• Implement operational efficiency and cost-reduction initiatives.
• Prepare progress reports for senior management.

Minimum Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in engineering (Chemical, Mechanical, Industrial, Civil) or Project Management.
• Professional certification preferred (PMP, PRINCE2, or equivalent).
• 5-10 years' experience in industrial processing plants, mining, chemicals, food processing, or salt production.
• Proven experience managing multidisciplinary teams and contractors.
• Experience in coastal or agricultural projects; exposure to renewable energy (solar evaporation).
