Key Responsibilities

• Develop, implement, and maintain safety and security protocols to ensure a safe working environment
• Conduct regular safety audits and risk assessments to identify potential hazards
• Provide safety and security training to employees, ensuring compliance with OSHA Municipal, and state regulations
• Investigate accidents and incidents to determine causes and implement preventive measures
• Monitor and enforce compliance with safety standards and regulations
• Collaborate with management to develop safety policies and procedures
• Maintain records of safety-related incidents and training sessions
• Coordinate emergency response plans and conduct regular drills
• Ensure proper use and maintenance of safety equipment

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Occupational Health and Safety, Environmental Science, or a related field
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in a safety and security role, preferably in a manufacturing environment
• Certified Safety Professional (CSP) or similar certification is an advantage
• Strong knowledge of safety regulations and best practices
• Excellent communication and training skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Bold and tough in the execution of duties, with a proactive approach to problem-solving.
