Purchasing Officer

Minimum Education: Bachelor's Degree 

Required Experience: 2 Years 

Job Purpose 

The Purchasing Officer will be responsible for running the stores including stock control, importations, TRA and Clearing. He/ She will also need to interact with the accounts system to produce the LPO's, goods received and authorise payment. 

Job Qualifications/Experience 

• Bachelor Degree in Business Administration, Logistics or a related field 
• 2 years' working experience 
• Prepare LPO's in the system 
• Receipt all good into the system 
• Ensure efficient operation of the purchasing department in all aspects 
• Establish written approval for minimum/maximum stock levels by accounts team
• Approve all additional requests for new storeroom items, checking correct item description, unit, packing, category, and establishes min/max estimated stock levels 
• Verbal and written communication skills 
• Active listening and paying attention to details
