Recovery Manager

Overview

We are currently looking for a suitable candidate to fill a vacant position of Recovery Manager at the Head Office, in Dar es Salaam 

Duties and Responsibilities:

• To identify accounts which are above sanctioned limits or expiry of limits where full compliance of terms of sanction remains pending or showing other early and late warning signals that causes
• Developing of collection strategies to minimize bad
• Ensuring NPL is effectively managed for maximum
• Monitoring and controlling performance of debt collectors appointed by the
• Visiting customers to evaluate business progress and their ability to pay before necessary actions are
• Turn around non-performing portfolio to performing
• Identifying accounts for filing of
• Attending court hearing sessions as Bank’s
• Provide ongoing couching to subordinates in portfolio management

Key Competency Requirements:

• Extensive knowledge on portfolio
• Understanding on credit process
• Having wide understanding of the Tanzanian
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to interact effectively with people at all
• Good negotiation
• Excellent Relationship Management
• Ability to work in a team and motivate others to achieve the desired
• Ability to work in dynamic conditions and transition

Qualifications and Experience Required:

• Holder of University Degree in Banking, Finance, Business Administration, or any other related
• Minimum of 5 years’ work experience in Banking specifically in portfolio
